If you build it will they come?

2010 by Bill

Sarah talks about growth and influence

2010 by Bill

You know those moments when it feels like your spirit is dancing? When you’re almost painfully full of life and joy and everything in sarah_lacy_meganbetween? That. That’s what I want to capture every time I put brush to canvas. Sometimes I get it across, sometimes I don’t. But that’s my focus every single time.

Perfectionism and Quality

2010 by Sarah Lacy

If I wiped out every painting I wasn’t completely excited about, then I’d have no paintings. In every single piece, I hit a stage where I think I’ve screwed it up completely, and that there’s no hope.

Going Wholesale Part 4: more important details

2010 by kristen

I didn’t apply early enough to get a lot of advance mailers and/or advertising spots purchased to let the buyers know I was coming. Breaking new Ground & community building

2009 by Bill

There are so many ways to invite people to share your journey on the internet. My website has an RSS feed that people can subscribe to and then they will receive alerts every time I add something new there. Then there’s my daily painting blog, readers can subscribe and get the daily post in their inbox, there’s also a new blogger feature in the sidebar that allows people to actually become a “follower” of my blog.

On Community, Breaking New Ground and Wisdom

2009 by Bill

I think the most unique thing is my blog — story telling really connects people with the images. It goes from being something pretty, to something they really connect with and want to have. Many artists have a blog, but I have readers worldwide who share my blog with their friends, post it on their websites, and really engage with me. I’m not selling anything on my blog — I’m simply sharing stories, and I think people really appreciate that.
