The Art of Strategy: Creating A Strategic Planner

strat_contestHow long have you had the same goals on your list of achievements? Do you have ideas and project that continue to linger and languish—either as plans on paper or incomplete starts? Are you thinking of starting another new project, but don’t know how to prioritize this one so it gets done? Do you know what you should be doing, but procrastinate or feel overwhelmed about it? Or do you want to know how to direct yourself or people you work with (or live with) to get specific results?

If any of these scenarios ring true, spend a few hours to learn and apply The Art of Strategy to whatever new or undone project you’d like to see turn out even better than expected.

The Art of Strategy provides a framework for determining the results you want to achieve, a workable plan for making it happen, and a way to regularly monitor progress and make adjustments as you go.

In this workshop you will learn:

  • The three top reasons why goal-setting fails to get us the results we want, and how to change that equation so that it works
  • How to get your important projects off the back burner
  • Ways of dealing with overwhelm and procrastination
  • How strategic thinking and planning helps your creative process
  • The difference between objectives, strategies and tactics: and why you need to know how to make these three tools work for you
  • How to empower yourself with a SMART vision
  • The magic of the “stop-doing” list

These are incredibly powerful tools that align your conscious and subconscious mind, with carefully planned action steps and plans that keep you moving forward. This workshop is not about making wimpy resolutions or wishful thinking. This is about kicking some major creative butt so you can get the results you know you want.

You will learn, practice and apply these tools using the fun, engaging visual journal process introduced in The Creative Entrepreneur. The Strategic Planner is a power tool you can adapt and continue to use on your own, long after the workshop.

You will leave with a strategic plan for yourself or your business, beautifully crafted into your own, unique, visual strategic planner.

You will also create a SMART vision card (or a whole deck, depending on how fast you work!) to keep in your strategic planner and use to stay motivated, inspired and on-track with your passion and purpose.

Online Workshop Format

  • Workshop includes a 2 downloadable .pdf full color workbooks filled with examples and tips, plus 2 mp3 recordings to accompany the workbooks.
