Don’t shoot yourself in the foot…invest in yourself instead

One of the pri­mary ways in which busi­nesses and the peo­ple who oper­ate them become suc­cess­ful is through self invest­ment. Noth­ing could be more impor­tant than own­ers of of small busi­nesses to invest in the tools and train­ing they need to suc­cess­fully oper­ate and grow their busi­ness to the level that matches their vision. Self invest­ment takes many dif­fer­ent forms from edu­ca­tion to own­ing the tools that will make work easier.

In the case of artists, self invest­ment can be own­ing and using a com­puter, know­ing how to nav­i­gate and use the Inter­net, hir­ing a pro­fes­sional to pho­to­graph jury images and hir­ing a pro­fes­sional to build a web pres­ence that sup­ports the qual­ity of their work.
