ART AT ST. KATE’S is produced by Artists’ Circle in cooperation with the Textile Center, to be held on the grounds of The College of St. Catherine in St. Paul, Minnesota. The art fair will be located on the beautiful triangle area of lawn of the St. Paul campus bordered by Randolph and Cleveland Avenues. Artists’ Circle is excited to add an outdoor show to its venues.
Seven established award-winning artists have been invited to participate: Monica Rudquist,Norma Hanlon, Billie Barthelemy, Sharon Cherney, Bill Plattes, Richard Stephens, Josephine Geiger. The remainder of the 90 artists are juried into the show.
A Juried Art Fair
Art at St. Kate’s is a juried art fair of quality fine crafts and fine art, produced by Artists’ Circle, a Minnesota non-profit art organization promoting fine crafts since 1995, and the Textile Center, a national center for fiber arts. This is on the beautiful triangle area at Cleveland and Randolph Avenues on the St. Paul campus of the College of St. Catherine. The show is organized and run by artists for artists. The art fair showcases local artists from the upper Midwest.
Quality Art work
Art at St. Kate’s features quality work by over 90 juried artists who create and sell fine crafts including basketry, clay, fiber, glass, leather, jewelry (gold, silver, pewter, stone, beaded), metal, paper, wood, mixed media, as well as fine arts including painting, watercolor, photography, printmaking, and sculpture. There will be everything from leather handbags and belts, watercolor paintings, silver and gold jewelry, baskets, and hand-forged iron to woven scarves, stone sculpture vessels, dolls, fused glass pendants, woodcut prints, unique hand-dyed silk apparel, mosaics, hand-woven rugs, hats, turned wood, original cards, hand-blown glass bowls, plus pottery tiles, vases, bowls, teapots and cups.
Art at St. Kate’s provides artists with a beautiful site to market their original art works and to interact with the appreciative and knowledgeable public for which the Twin Cities is well known. Art at St. Kate’s is proud to be part of the campaign to Buy Local.
