ART AT ST. KATE’S is pro­duced by Artists’ Cir­cle in coop­er­a­tion with the Tex­tile Cen­ter, to be held on the grounds of The Col­lege of St. Cather­ine in St. Paul, Min­nesota. The art fair will be located on the beau­ti­ful tri­an­gle area of lawn of the St. Paul cam­pus bor­dered by Ran­dolph and Cleve­land Avenues. Artists’ Cir­cle is excited to add an out­door show to its venues.

Seven estab­lished award-winning artists have been invited to par­tic­i­pate: Mon­ica Rudquist,Norma Han­lon, Bil­lie Barthelemy, Sharon Cher­ney,  Bill Plattes, Richard  Stephens, Josephine Geiger. The remain­der of the 90 artists are juried into the show.

A Juried Art Fair

Art at St. Kate’s is a juried art fair of qual­ity fine crafts and fine art, pro­duced by Artists’ Cir­cle, a Min­nesota non-profit art orga­ni­za­tion pro­mot­ing fine crafts since 1995, and the Tex­tile Cen­ter, a national cen­ter for fiber arts. This is on the beau­ti­ful tri­an­gle area at Cleve­land and Ran­dolph Avenues on the St. Paul cam­pus of the Col­lege of St. Cather­ine. The show is orga­nized and run by artists for artists. The art fair show­cases local artists from the upper Midwest.

Qual­ity Art work

Art at St. Kate’s fea­tures qual­ity work by over 90 juried artists who cre­ate and sell fine crafts includ­ing bas­ketry, clay, fiber, glass, leather, jew­elry (gold, sil­ver, pewter, stone, beaded), metal, paper, wood, mixed media, as well as fine arts includ­ing paint­ing, water­color, pho­tog­ra­phy, print­mak­ing, and sculp­ture. There will be every­thing from leather hand­bags and belts, water­color paint­ings, sil­ver and gold jew­elry, bas­kets, and hand-forged iron to woven scarves, stone sculp­ture ves­sels, dolls, fused glass pen­dants, wood­cut prints, unique hand-dyed silk apparel, mosaics, hand-woven rugs, hats, turned wood, orig­i­nal cards, hand-blown glass bowls, plus pot­tery tiles, vases, bowls, teapots and cups.

Art at St. Kate’s pro­vides artists with a beau­ti­ful site to mar­ket their orig­i­nal art works and to inter­act with the appre­cia­tive and knowl­edge­able pub­lic for which the Twin Cities is well known. Art at St. Kate’s is proud to be part of the cam­paign to Buy Local.
